Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in a fire walk at Farnborough fire station on the 20th March which is possibly a 'mad thing' to do but I am doing this to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity to assist research into this devastating disease which my friend's daughter Amanda fought bravely against for 12 years finally losing her fight on the 20th September 2010. Nobody should have to go through what Amanda did and of course that includes her family who lost a beloved wife, daughter, sister and auntie. To read Amanda's story click on www.thebraintumourcharity.org and go to the groups section. The picture above is of me and Amanda taken at Hampton Court when we went to see Russell Watson in concert. If by walking on fire I can raise more money for research towards a cure and help prevent another family from going through this trauma it will be worthwhile and I won't even mind if I get a blister or two!!! In memory of Amanda please help. Love Jill
