Story
10 years ago this coming November we lost our Son/Uncle Steve to a glioblastoma it was 20 months from his diagnosis to his passing.
Steve was such an amazing man and fought the disease for as long as he could . He was such an incredible and inspirational person .
He was a totally loving and caring Husband and Father, and his deepest fear was not being able to see his two children growing up
Steve took part in a tv programme A TIME TO LIVE on bbc2, plus Anglia TV, local newspapers and fundraising. He wanted to do all he could to make people aware of this terrible disease.
Steve's wish and legacy was to carry on fundraising for Braintumourresearch, which his family and friends continue to do in his memory 💙
One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.
Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
