On 10th September 2023, I will be running the Great North Run Half Marathon in Newcastle for Make-A-Wish UK.

Make-A-Wish® UK creates life-changing wishes that revive the childhood that critical illness takes away, bringing light and joy at the darkest of times for a child and their loved ones. But right now, there are 60,000 children in the UK living with a critical condition, and they don’t have the resources to be that light for everyone. 

By supporting this great cause, we can help enable them to grant a wish to every eligible child, to bring joy in what is a dark time. I may not have a specific connection with the charity, but I want to help provide moments of happiness to children who have been dealt unfair hands and make a difference to their lives, even if small.
