The Breakfast Club Initiative was instigated by leading city Entrepreneur, Kavita Oberoi OBE. Founding partners for the school breakfast scheme are: Oberoi Business Hub, Copemann Ashby, Derby City Council, Derby County Community Trust and HIS Church.

A successful pilot during the 2016-2017 academic year saw 4 schools provided with breakfasts to feed 110 pupils. As a result of this, there was an observed impact on time-keeping, learning, and positivity with children coming into school ready to learn and on time. The scheme has now been extended to engage all schools across Derby City. Your support is needed to ensure no child in Derby City goes to school hungry.
