ShelterBox work to ensure that vulnerable families around the world have life-saving emergency shelter, and other essential tools and aid items, after disaster strikes. Be it an earthquake, flood, conflict or hurricane, we are there for those most in need.

Story

Starting at 12pm GMT on Thursday 14th April, BBHers from all 6 offices are planning to undertake a 24 hour run/cycle/row-a-thon to raise money for www.shelterbox.org. This is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency temporary housing, warmth and dignity to people affected by the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

Your donation will help ShelterBox to deliver emergency shelter and other lifesaving equipment to a family who have lost everything following a disaster. Only new equipment is used and is carefully selected for durability, practicality and suitability for where it is needed. Tough, lightweight and waterproof, the box itself can also have many useful functions from food container to cot.A range of equipment is kept in stock. This lets ShelterBox adjust the contents of the box according to local conditions and what is most urgently needed.
