Most of you know my story but just in case. I was diagnosed a few years ago with very early breast cancer after having my first mammogram that luckily our NHS give you after the age of 50, which lead to 2 operations and some radiotherapy. If I had ignored it, a few years down the line, I would be telling you a different story.

This year, I am holding an Afternoon Tea raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer in my local Methodist Church on Friday 22nd August. Please if you are unable to come along and if you can, donate whatever to my page and of course, spread the word.

For those that can make it, it will be a fun afternoon where we can enjoy some nice food (especially cake), play a few games including guess the weight of the cake, name the teddy bear, etc and there may even be some singing!
