As I have raised money a few times I thought I better go a bit further than a marathon to raise money for SARDA so I think 69 miles is far enough. I will be running from Carlisle Castle to Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Newcastle Upon Tyne and was crazy enough to sign up to doing this in one day. Many of you know my Mum is aCalloutCo-ordinator for SARDA and also carries out searches with her partner in crimeFaelen(her search dog). SARDA are a non profit making, voluntaryorganisationto help the Police and Mountain Rescue Teams search for missing people. My mum and everyone involved in SARDA (don’t forget the dogs too) are on call 24/7 in all conditions to try to save people’s lives. So if I could raise money for this charity again I would be very happy as I know how much they appreciated the last donation (thanks again to those who have donated previously).
