At Princess Alice Hospice, we provide exceptional end of life care in our hospice and in the community. We know we can’t prevent death, but we do whatever we possibly can to make it the best it possibly can be. But, above all, we believe that hospice care is for living.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The team of Caroline Ford, Samantha Maffre, Jo Proudlove, Clare O'Sullivan, Grant Witheridge, Martin Kelly, Tom Taaffe, Steve McGrath & Brendan McWeeney are doing the Royal Park's half marathon, raising money on behalf of the Princess Alice Hospice who gave such amazing care and support to our friend Bernie Looney, who sadly lost her fight with cancer in February 2017. The staff and volunteers showed such kindness and warmth to her family and friends also

Bernie was a larger than life character, who impacted on so many people with her friendship, kindness, warmth, generosity, loyalty, laughter and love. She had a beautiful smile, a crazy and totally bonkers personality and a love for life that was taken from her far too soon

Please help us to raise some money for such a worthy cause and in memory of such a wonderful, much missed friend.
