The Berwick & District Cancer Support Group was founded in 1992 and our main service is to provide free transport to any cancer sufferer to all major hospitals in our area. The group is entirely made up of volunteers and we rely on the help and support of everyone in the community. Get in touch with us to find out more and help us by supporting the many events and activities that the community hold in aid of our charity. Our main service is to provide free transport to any cancer sufferer to all major hospitals in our area e.g. Wansbeck, Newcastle, Borders General and Edinburgh for any cancer related appointment. When possible a friend or relative may travel alongside for support but please check a seat is available when making travel arrangements.

Story

I am once again taking part in The Great North Run to raise money and support the Berwick and District Cancer Support Group. This charity provides a valuable service to the local people of Berwick Upon Tweed with FREE cancer care transport to the regional hospitals. I would like to raise some money to help this important local charity. Thank you for your support.
