Brighton Marathon 2022

Brighton Marathon 2022 · 10 April 2022 ·
Please support me as I run the Brighton Marathon on 10th April in aid of the Ukrainian refugees through Hospices of Hope. Help me make a difference and raise money for an incredible charity that is providing invaluable support to those who are fleeing the devastating fighting.
Hospices of Hope have been working in Romania for over 30 years and their incredible work has now expanded into Serbia, Moldova, Albania and Greece, offering an increase of access to free hospice care. Their teams are involved both professionally and personally in all these countries and they are now reaching out to support Ukraine in this tragic war.
Hospices of Hope has made available one of their buildings in Romania to house women and child refugees, in particular those who have medical needs. They are also helping provide basic medical supplies, food and temporary accommodation, using their hospice cars to transport wherever possible; many refugees are crossing the border without transport and have nowhere to turn. In addition, the hospice is collecting donations of both medical supplies and food, distributing them to refugees staying in the area. Any Ukrainian citizens needing palliative care are being admitted to the hospice in Bucharest alongside a provision of psychological counselling being given to those affected by trauma through teams in Romania and Moldova (some of which are right on the border with Ukraine).
Your donations will go directly to the charity and make an immediate difference; they greatly need our generosity so please help me make this run count!
