We are a group of friends from Dunks Green and Plaxtol taking part in the first ever Tonbridge Dragon Boat Race at the end of June and are raising funds for local charity the Scotts Project Trust.  This is a charity that our dear friend Brenda gave much support to and we are hoping to raise some funds in her memory. 

The Scotts Project provides a supportive environment for adults with learning difficulties enabling them to realise fulfilled and happy lives.  They are currently raising funds to build an extension to enable the residents to continue to live at St. Peter's Row as they grow older.

We did it! Not only did we do it but we came in a very happy third place and have the bronze medals to prove it.  Not at all bad for our first outing on the water.  Well done team -  it was a great day and I think we did Brenda very proud.
