London to Paris Bike ride · 27 September 2017

The Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for patients.

Story

We have already started fundraising for this great children's charity with a number of static cycle events at various locations in Suffolk.   We have a few more events planned before our fundraising culminates with a 300-mile long cycle ride from London to Paris starting on the 27th September 2017.

This amazing charity is saving lives by transferring critically ill children across the Uk to get them the specialist help they need. Not only do their helicopters fly fast but they also serve as flying intensive care units, making every second count.

The Children's Air ambulance receives no government funding so really needs our support to continue to function and grow.

Here are some examples of how your money can help

£5 could pay for 300L of life-giving oxygen.

£10 could pay for enough fuel to fly 11 miles towards the specialist care needed.

£20 could pay for a pair of children's ear defenders to protect little ears.

Please donate whatever you can for this fantastic cause and thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
