I recently started swimming in the sea at Minehead beach (for fun). I am doing the dip on New Year's Day in memory of my mum. She died of mesothelioma (asbestosis) :( She spent some time at St. Margarets Hospice in Taunton. The lovely staff looked after her, with amazing tenderness, empathy and compassion. So this is a tiny bit of payback in recognition of the brilliant work that they do.
