A friend of sorts has sponsored me to run in a mankini. With friends like that...

Paper & Cup is an award-winning and innovative social enterprise cafe that helps recovering addicts back into the workplace. By  providing a real work environment and valuable work experience and skills, we're helping those in recovery to raise their self esteem, give structure and think about moving on with their lives.

We've been open for just over a year. Whilst the business is now becoming self-sustaining - that is it's just moved into paying it's way in terms of rent, food, wages for the coffee shop staff - the heart of what we do - the therapeutic work and support we give recovering addicts needs urgent funding.

We've no interest in just running a great coffeeshop. Our mission is to help some of the most needy people in the UK. We need to raise £21,000 in the next 3 months to keep this amazing work going throughout 2014.

Please do help us. What we have here is amazing and we want this work to continue.

This runs aim is to raise a minimum of £3,000. More would be wonderful; We are seeking to raise funds elsewehere too.
