60 Miles in June for The National Autistic Society

60 Miles in June Β· 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2025 Β· Start fundraising for this event
Hello, I'm Brent ππ»
As some of you know, or if we've never met, you may not know, I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, Arthritis and damaged ligaments in my spine last year, along with serious damage to my hips and a wonky gate. 'I know, I'm falling apart' π«£π.
Walking, Running, Swimming, Cycling... well any kind of exercise are extremely painful and difficult for me. However, with the need to keep fit and to be as active as possible, I thought what better way to try and show my body who is boss, than to raise money for charity!!
So, throughout the month of June, I have committed to walking and running (If possible π£) 60 miles for the 'National Autistic Society' (NAS).
I will of course be taking my trusted walking stick and some serious medication along the way, but every penny will be worth it.
Here is a snippet of what NAS do and why I want to support them.
The National Autistic Society are there to help the 700,000 autistic people in the UK and their families - be it running specialist schools, campaigning for improved rights or training companies on being more autism-friendly, they are dedicated to transforming lives and changing attitudes.
So, with this in mind, every penny, share and mention I get, will help Autistic people, just like me, to get the support with school, employment and in their day to day life that they need, right here in the UK.
If you can, please give me your support, to help NAS help more lives!
Thank you for reading, your support is truly priceless β€οΈ
Brent
