There was a break in at The Cathedral Archer Project premises on Campo Lane on the evening of 14 May. The buildings are owned by Sheffield Cathedral. The perpetrator(s) started a fire in one of the rooms. The fire brigade attended and the fire was extinguished. The full extent of the damage has yet to be fully assessed and the incident is now under police investigation. Thankfully no one has been hurt. The intention is for CAP to resume our essential services supporting and feeding homeless people, as soon as is safe and possible to do so. This is obviously a huge blow for the charity who have been making and delivering over 180 meals daily to those in need during this current crisis. But we need your help in order to be able to do this. We are so grateful for any support that you can provide at this time and will continue to provide more information as it becomes available.
