Possibly against my better judgement, I’ve committed myself to a 100mile cycle in July.I am looking to raise some cash for a special charity that is close to my heart and that of the police. You will likely know it as Call4Backup - a fantastic and worthy cause that helps Police Officers and Staff by providing support through tough times. I’m sure you’ll agree, we are a resilient bunch and we do a good job of helping each other…. But none of us are invincible and for that reason, it’s good to know we have a port of call, if or when we may need it.
This charity is important offering a phone, text and email support service manned by trained support agents it is sometimes the last defences for officers and staff dealing with depression feeling that they cannot ask for support from within their own organization. Please if you can dig deep and lets ensure this life saving service has the funds to continue this crucial work.
