The school uses funds raised in this manner to pay for equipment, facilities and events which cannot be provided in any other way. School budgets are tight at present and almost all of the available funds are fully used in the day-to-day running of the school. Kids with disabilities and other special needs often benefit disproportionately from extra-curricular activities such as away-days. In the past, we have managed to fund a disability mini-bus; specialist gym equipment and many off-site visits. You can be sure that any money that you can give will be sensibly used to the great benefit of disadvantaged children. Please do what you can.
