At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Just heard that both of the Boys / men made it to the summit. Both are well but found it very tough the last few metres due to such thin air. A picture of them at the top will hopefully be posted on here soon. They arrive back tonight (Sunday) very tired and dirty but very happy! Thanks for all your support. LINDA

==============================================
We decided to take a different type of holiday, one which was a challenge. Somehow Gary persuaded me that a walk up Kilimanjaro would be a good idea, so we are booked to leave on 19th August and are due to get to the summit on 25th August.
Linda correctly pointed out that when (if?) we make it I (Brett) would be asking myself where am I, and why on earth did I do it! This led us to to the thought of doing a good turn for charity. So by sponsoring us we can comfort ourselves that we are hurting your pockets while we are hurting our own feet! Please dig deep for Alzheimer's and sponsor us online. Donating is simple, fast and totally secure. Alzheimer's Society will receive your money fast and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Please sponsor us now! Many thanks for your support. Brett and Gary Hollins
