Hi everyone,

I’d like to share with you my latest fundraising challenge …

Date: Friday 11th December 2020.

The Challenge: Cycling to every Halifax branch in Bury St Edmunds Pool. Leaving Bury St Edmunds branch at 9am, I will make my way up to Thetford branch. I will then make my way across to Diss branch, down to Stowmarket branch and back across to Bury St Edmunds branch where I will aim to finish by 4pm. In total, this will be over 70 miles!

The cause: I have decided to split fundraising between 2 different charities:

Mental Health UK – a lot of people have had their own mental health challenges this year and so I am keen to do something to raise much needed funds for our charity of the year.

Breast Cancer Now – This is the charity that has provided much needed support to a colleague in Thetford. I am really keen for the Pool to raise as much so we can support the cause that has helped this colleague the most.

Fund raising starts now.

Let’s raise as much as we can for these wonderful charities!

P.S. I am really not looking forward to doing over 70 miles on a bike in the middle of December!!!
