Eddy's WALK ACROSS WALES AND ENGLAND

WALK ACROSS WALES AND ENGLAND · 3 August 2020
This is my accommodation and equipment for the walks duration. For the more eagle eyed you will see I have my medication to hand. After serving in the British Army for 23 years I was unfortunate enough , shortly after leaving, to be involved in a serious road accident whereby both of my legs were shattered. Initially they feared I may not walk again. It took 3 years to learn how to walk again and was lucky enough to make a full recovery and return to full duties as a front line police officer. Some service personnel , who whilst serving both in this country and abroad, have not been so fortunate, and now they and their families need our support . As a testament to them, at the grand young age of 68, I aim to walk across Wales and England in 10 days, averaging 35 miles a day. I will be doing this solo and unsupported. I will be carrying all equipment required, such as a fly sheet and sleeping bag, which will be set up in a suitable field at the end of each day. I will be self funding all expenses and all monies raised will go directly to H4H. Your donation , no matter how small will be most appreciated.
