Story
I'm cycling something like 240 miles, give or take a bit, from Devizes in Wiltshire, via Shipton Moyne, all the way back to Hook in East Yorkshire, in three and a half days, form Wednesday 29 September until Saturday 2nd October.
Then on Sunday 3rd October I'll turn an age that means I really ought to have more sense.
It's all in aid of St Mary's, Hook. It's a lovely medieval church, but right at the heart of it's contemporary community. We're protecting heritage, and creating something special at the heart of a great community.
Leave a donation if you believe in architectural heritage, if you believe in the integrity of communities, or if you just want to give this old codger a happy birthday.
As I struggle my way up the middle of England, the more donations I see coming in, the more strength I'll find in my legs. Gimme strength!
