My wife is a Trustee at the Sanctuary and has many stories of animals who would have died without the help of the charity.  Our own cats, Dorothy, Blossom, Teddy and Rainbow are all adopted from the Sanctuary.  

By running the Great North Run I am hoping to raise money to support the continued good work of the Sanctuary, thus preventing any more 'adoptees' coming home! After all, I'm living on Piriton thanks to being slightly allergic!  

My photo is a picture of 3 kittens whose lives were saved by the charity. These kittens had been abandoned by their Mother and were found starving in an alley way.  They were taken into the care of the Sanctuary where they were hand fed on demand as they were too young to lap food or milk.  After a wobbly start these 3 kittens are now thriving and almost ready for new homes!
