This is my first half marathon since having a heart attack and returning to running and only my second half marathon. Thanks to the Redway Runners I was able to start running again and this is where I met my running partner Lorraine Brookman. 

Lorraine was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and has undergone a year of chemotherapy treatment, has undergone two operations and has further treatment planned for this year. She is looking forward to returning to running by the end of the year and I am looking forward to having my running partner back.

At the age of 86 this is no small feat and I am running this half marathon to help raise awareness of breast cancer.

Any donations at all will be greatly appreciate and will go a long way to helping the breast cancer now charity. All funds received go towards the cause.
