Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking part in this Cultural Walk that begins at Thwaite Mills, Leeds and then continues along the canal towpath, passing the Hepworth, on the way to the Theatre Royal, Wakefield. I'm hoping to raise money for the theatre's New Centre For Creativity by helping to buy a Star that will be placed on the Centre's wall in the name of my mother: Gwendoline Challenger. My mother spent all her married life in Wakefield, she loved the theatre and would have been so proud to have her name on a wall in this Centre of Creativity which is going to be  used by generations of young people. I will be walking with other members of my family to try to raise the £1000 for the Star. If you can help in any small way we will be extremely grateful.
