Kilt-imanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro · 15 October 2015
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 14th October 2015 I'll be setting off with four friends on whats set to be the most challenging event I've ever taken part in. We will be attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, one of Africa's most magnificent sights, and at 5895m it's the worlds highest free standing mountain.
Oops almost forgot we will be doing it wearing our kilts!
I was approached by one of my friends on November 2014 to take part on what has been an ambition of his for many years. Along with me he has convinced three other "Haggis Hunter's" to take part. So there we have it, five lads, five different charities and one hill to conquer!
My wife and I are very lucky that our children have always had good health. Others are not so fortunate and in the Highlands and North of Scotland these children and their families rely on the fantastic work carried out by the Archie Foundation.
The Archie Foundation is the official charity of the Children's Wards in Inverness, Elgin, Aberdeen, Community based Child Health throughout Grampian, Highland, Orkney and Shetland. All monies donated to the Archie Foundation go directly towards 'making the difference' for sick children and their families in the North of Scotland.
So, please dig deep and donate to help me smash my target figure. The Trek will be gruelling and challenging but I'm sure I'll do it! It'll give me great satisfaction and pride to know that the money we raise together will help the next sick child in our area. Let's do it!
Thank You so much for your support,
Brian Innes
