Story

I'm taking on the challenge of completing the 183km course of the 1st stage of the 2022 Tour de France, which this year is in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event is called the Grand Départ Classic and is to raise funds for the great charity Prostate Cancer UK.

The charity aims to improve the care and welfare of those affected by prostate cancer, while increasing investment in research, and raising public and political awareness of a long-neglected disease. 1 man every 45 minutes dies of Prostate Cancer, and 1 in 8 men will have Prostate Cancer in their lifetime. Due to Covid there are an expected 14,000 men who've not been diagnosed early. Early diagnosis significantly improves the outcomes of men before the cancer spreads to other parts of the body.

Any funds that you are able to donate would be great to support this wonderful charity and the important work they do supporting men and their families.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
