Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As a family of six we have previously taken part in The Malcolm Whales Foundation (TMWF) Non-Dorset walk - which was introduced due to Covid - covering 40 miles locally over the course of a week.

This year we have opted to challenge ourselves further and participate in the full event, the Dorset walk.

This is a rather daunting challenge, walking 40 miles in 3 days along the Jurassic South West Coast of England.  As parents we want to show our children how important it is to challenge yourself and to take pride in being able to achieve something special whilst raising money for a great cause along the way.

TMWF provides amazing support to Cancer sufferers as well as their families. It was setup by a friend of ours after his father, Malcolm, passed away at just 55 years old from Bowel Cancer.  The Dorset Walk has had a huge impact since the first walk back in 2009.  Please take a look at their webpage:

TMWF is still a very young charity that has already achieved great things.  It is looking to get bigger, better and impact wider.
Any donations towards this great cause would be greatly received.
