Story

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know that despite a very wet day, with the help of good friends we completed our Marathon walk yesterday (Bank Holiday Monday). Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to Aurora, it means a huge amount to the team and clients.

Our story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. The team at Aurora are highly specialised therapists committed to the painstaking and often protracted task of helping adults who are still struggling with the trauma of childhood abuse.

We can all see from the news that the issues of historical child abuse are growing in the UK but, even though there are very few services set up to help sufferers, Aurora receives little grant funding and depends heavily on public donations.

So, we are walking a marathon distance (26.5 miles) along the Thames from Tower Bridge to Hampton Court on Bank Holiday Monday (31st August) to raise as much money as we can. We hope you will choose to support us and Aurora. Thank you!

Brian and Debbie.
