Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was diagnosed with leukaemia in September 2010 and was forunately referred to the Royal Marsden. After several sessions of Chemo I was pronounced clear, but a year later it came back. More stronger chemo, then I contracted a serious lung infection which put me on life support for a few weeks in Chelsea. I recovered and then had a Chord Stem cell Transplant (non related) in May 2012, and have been fortunate enough to live a normal life since.
I'm doing this walk to try to help others who might be in my position in the future. Without research I would not have made it, so hopefully in the future more people will benefit.
