Story

UPDATE - CHALLENGE COMPLETED! Total Ride length 742km!

I'm taking on a bigger and more gruelling challenge for 2023 by Cycling the length of Portugal in 6 days from Chaves on the Northern border with Spain, to Faro on the South coast! That's over 700km with approximately 10km of climbing along on the way, all for raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

PCUK aims to improve the care and welfare of those affected by prostate cancer, while increasing investment in research, and raising public and political awareness of a long-neglected disease. 1 man every 45 minutes dies of Prostate Cancer, and 1 in 8 men will have Prostate Cancer in their lifetime. Due to Covid there are an expected 14,000 men who've not been diagnosed early. Early diagnosis significantly improves the outcomes of men before the cancer spreads to other parts of the body.

I've fully funded the ride cost so ALL of your vital donations and gift aid go direct to PCUK. I know that it is tough times for many but any funds that you are able to donate would be great to support this wonderful charity and the important work they do supporting men and their families.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
