Have you ever watched the Olympics and thought, "if I could run that far even half as fast as them I'd be doing alright"?
To raise money for the Bridge Life Centre I am running all 8 Olympic distances, from 100 metres up to a marathon, all within 1 weekend, with the challenge of completing each distance half as fast as the World Record time. My targets are:
100m: 19.16 sec (WR= 9.58)
200m: 38.38 sec (WR= 19.19)
400m: 1 min 26 sec (WR= 43.03)
800m: 3 min 20 sec (WR= 1 min 40s)
1500m: 6 min 52 sec (WR= 3 min 26s)
5000m: 25 min 14 sec (WR= 12 min 37s)
10,000m: 53 min 16 sec (WR= 26 min 38s)
Marathon: 4 hours 3 min 18 sec (WR= 2 hours 1m 39s)
