Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in peoples homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.
How to enter
• To enter please make a donation of £2 per photograph (max of 3 photos) on our dedicated JustGiving page
• Email your photographs along with your name, image name(s) to photocomp@bridgendcameraclub.co.uk
• Leave your image name in the JustGiving text box as proof of donation
• The photos need to be saved with an image name using the format Title_YourName.jpeg.
• The recommended size of the photos is 1600x1200 pixels & 300dpi.
• Competition is open between 1st May 2021 – 15th June 2021
• Winners will be contacted by email by 30th July 2021
• There will be a trophy for 1st place and certificates for runners up

• This competition is open to UK residents aged over 18.
• The competition will open on 1st May, 2021.
• The competition closes on 15th June 2021 at 12pm.
• Entries will only be eligible if payment and your photo/s are received by 12pm on the 15th June, 2021.
• Entry fees received after this date will be treated as a donation.
• Each entry will cost £2.
• You may submit maximum of 3 entries at £2 per photo.
• The winner will be chosen by a panel of Bridgend Camera Club members and Marie Curie representatives.
• The winners will be notified by email by 30th July 2021.
• By entering the competition, entrants agree that if they win, their name and photograph will be published on some Marie Curie social media pages and potentially other promotional material. Should the winner object to their name being made available, they should inform charli.thomas@mariecurie.org.uk - Community Fundraiser. • By entering you grant permission to Marie Curie for exclusive license to reproduce your images for the following purposes:
o Printing of winning and highly commendable photographs in the local media.
o Marie Curie related social media accounts.
o Creation of future fundraising materials including, but not limited to, works such as a charity calendar.
• The prize is non-refundable, non-negotiable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
• Shortlisted entries will be displayed on the Marie Curie Bridgend & Porthcawl Facebook page after the closing date. • Marie Curie accepts no responsibility for any costs or other fees payable as a result of participation in this competition.
• Marie Curie reserves the right to disqualify any entry without notice if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the terms and conditions.
• No responsibility can be accepted for any entries not received for any reason.
• Marie Curie Bridgend reserve the right to cancel or amend this “Life after Lockdown” photo competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
