We want to do more to help those hardest hit by the Covid-10 pandemic.
So we are launching a new initiative called CharityBegins@Home. Our goal is to raise £10,000 in 2020 via a series of home-based challenges. This will be donated to a portfolio of charities that directly support those most affected by this crisis.
Every month, the Bridges team will support a charity and undertake a related challenge we can do at home. Bridges Impact Foundation will match-fund.
In May, we are supporting West London Zone, to ensure that the vulnerable children and families they work with get all the additional support they need in this crisis, so that the children's futures can be kept on track. Money raised will go towards food and essential household goods, IT equipment to facilitate home schooling, and books/arts/crafts to engage children at home.
