You might be wondering who the "I" refers to on this page. Well, it’s actually the whole of the Bridges Ventures Team.

To mark our 10th Anniversary, we wanted to set ourselves a challenge. How far can the Bridges team travel purely through “human power” in six months? Our aim is to run, walk, cycle and swim a combined total of 20,000 km, the approximate equivalent distance of travelling pole to pole, from March to September 2012. Through this challenge we hope to reduce our carbon footprint, get ourselves fitter and, most importantly, raise money for our chosen charity, Springboard.
