Bridges Walk 2013 · 22 September 2013

We raise money to fund the vital exercise sessions that are central to the cardiac rehabilitation programme in Buckinghamshire. We pay for the exercise sessions, equipment and specialist trainers so that people recovering from heart surgery and cardiac events can get back to normal.

The Bridges Walk 2013 is organised by supporters of Hearts and Soul, a local Buckinghamshire cardiac support and rehaibilitation charity.  The local charity group has helped many people to get active and remain healthy following cardiac procedures.

Bridges Walk is one of the annual fund raising events organised to raise money for the charity. The participants walk from Putey Bridge to Tower Bridge crossing all the 16 London Bridges in normally less than six hours, covering a total distance of around 13 miles.  This is also great opportunity to see the beautiful riverside of London and gain some histroical knowledge of all London Bridges.

On the day we will go to Putney and back by sharing cars.  From Tower Bridge we take the underground or share a taxi back to Putney to collect our cars and drive home.
