The Big Foxy Streak!

Lockdown 3.0 has taken over our lives for almost a year now. For some of us, it's caused pain, loss and separation, and for others it's affected businesses and livelihoods.

Until now, the cases and deaths on the news were numbers to me. 

But when our best friend got admitted to Worthing Hospital on Christmas Eve, it all became so very real and personal. 

15 days later, having spent 7 days on a ventilator fighting for her life, our dear friend is now on the road to recovery. She fought Covid thanks to the amazing doctors and nurses in Worthing Hospital ICU who are working tirelessly around the clock to help the sickest of Covid patients. 

So when our run leaders set a 'New Year Running Streak' challenge, Katey and I decided to turn this streak into a fundraiser for the ICU unit that kept our friend alive.
