Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page raising money for Macmillan.

in 2010 year my dad was diagnosed with Cancer.  He has undergone treatment both Chemotheraphy and Radiotheraphy and after an anxious wait to find out if the treatment has worked he received the all clear.  Regular check ups will continue every 6 weeks.  We have now had 4 all clear check up's

Throughout the time my dad remained positive, and as tough as it was on the family it would have been a lot tougher if it wasn't for the support of Macmillan.  They have been a great support network with everything from just having a chat when things have got a bit much to helping me sort out my dad's finances.

I was so grateful for their support and wanted to do something in return and so I asked a few of my friends if they wanted to take part in a few events to raise money.

Our events will include a half marathon (Completed)

Our next event is at Rottingdeam Cricket Club on Friday 17th August 2012.  This willl be a T20 Charity Crciket Match from 5pm.

We don't expect you to make a donation for each event so thought we would set up a page covering all the events we will be taking part in.
