An appeal has been launched by the Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund on behalf of residents of the Grenfell Tower inferno in West London.

Story

Following the harrowing news this week about the Grenfell tower block in Kensington, the Brighton & Hove Property Consortium have decided to set up a page for people to donate to the victims who have lost everything in this horrific fire, and to those who have also tragically lost loved ones.

As a body representing property professionals within the City of Brighton & Hove, our members consider high quality design and safety standards to be paramount in the design of both residential and commercial developments.  We are all extremely saddened to watch these events unfold and would like to help in any way possible to ensure that those affected are supported and that his tragedy cannot be repeated.

The appeal and distribution of funds to victims in need of support will be run by the London Community Foundation which has administered the Dispossessed Fund since it was launched eight years ago.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
