Daisy Maciocia is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

Team: Ewald

Brighton Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

My father Ewald very sadly passed away on the 15th of August 2024 after an indescribably tough journey with Alzheimer's.

He had been a passionate athlete throughout his life, successfully concluding countless marathons and triathlons, including an Iron Man at the age of 53 (finishing in under 12 hours!).

In his memory and to raise money as well as awareness, I will be running the Brighton Marathon 2025.

Thank you for your support.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
