Histiocytosis UK funds research into uncovering the causes of Histiocytic diseases. These include Langerhan's Cell Histiocytosis & Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis. Seeking early diagnosis, effective treatment and a cure as well as providing information support.

Story

On March 4th 2018 I will be running the Bath Half Marathon in memory of our beautiful friend Ottie Uden, who sadly passed away very suddenly last term. She suffered from HLH: Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis which was previously unknown by many due to the condition's rarity and for this reason I have chosen Histio UK as my charity. Any donations you could spare will go a hugely long way to help the charity carry out further research and assist those already suffering from the disease.

I'm sure you all know I'm not remotely gifted in the sporting world so please come along to Bath to support and/or laugh at me if you're able. Judging by how the training is going, it will be a difficult day... Any penny would be greatly appreciated, no amount will make up for our loss but let's all remember our angel Ottie together.

Thank you so much,

Briony xxx
