Run completed and I now even have some pictures up as well! (pics courtesy of a fellow gorilla runner named Lenny! Thanks Lenny!)
I had an awesome, if tiring, time! The Gorillas set forth intrepidly at around 10:30am precisely on saturday 26th of September, by which point I had been awake for 25.5 hours straight (it's sort of a long story, but involves outfit design and making, coaches, a club that finished at 6am and significant amounts of industrial music...). Still I set off in reasonably good spirits and soon fell into step with a lady gorilla who was proceeding at the same pace, all managed while being 21 weeks pregnant (which I must say I thought was very impressive!). We were lucky and there remained a little cloud cover during the run, but even so I was just a little bit saturiated by the time we finished, which is I guess to be expected...
It was an excellent day none the less, and thanks again for all those who have sponsored me so far! For anyone who hasn't but would like to, please feel free! This site will be up for a couple of months yet, so any further sponsorship would be greatfully received!

As you no doubt know for getting this far, the fundraising is in aid of the Gorilla Organization, and I am putting my time and effort into this with the specific goal of taking part in the Great Gorilla Run, a 7km run around London on the 26th of September, run exclusively by gorillas such as myself (honest, I am a gorilla!).
