British School Salalah is based in Oman, the country next to Yemen. Shockingly, the crisis in Yemen has been considered as the world's largest humanitarian crisis.

'Every 10 minutes a child dies in Yemen, on average, according to the U.N. More than 400,000 children are starving. Another 1.5 million are acutely malnourished and need aid to survive.' 

We at British School Salalah see our students enjoying themselves and having a great education at the same time. They are safe, sound and happy. But sadly, our neighbouring country is suffering greatly. Children are extremely malnourished and are in desperate need of care. Families are crying out for help and we cannot remain silent and do nothing to help our neighbours. We want the same for them as we have for our students in our school. We want them to feel loved, secure and safe.

We have thought of the eventful idea of a school run to help raise money for Yemen and would love for you to help support this cause!
