Bringing back Smiles

Nelsons Journey is a Norfolk charity that supports children and young people up to their 18th birthday who have experienced the death of a significant person in their life. They provide a range of support, appropriate for the needs of each child or young person. This may include one-to-one support and opportunities to meet others their age who have also experienced a bereavement.

So why am I doing this stupid, non human challenge?

I have undertaken Ride London, rode from London to Edinburgh (536 miles) in 5 days on consecutive years. (although the first year I crashed on day 4 in the Lake District, ended up in hospital and then carried on😬). Now I wanted to challenge myself to ride a round the whole of Norfolk in 1 day, a route of 201 miles.  My family & friends think i’m crazy for attempting this, but I want to prove that you can achieve anything in life, if you belief in why you are doing and have a great reason like supporting this amazing charity.

If anyone is questioning how much of a challenge this is, I suspect the Approx timing will be 13 - 14 hours on my bike.
