We all either have or know someone who has suffered because of mental health. I’ve struggled vastly with it over the last few years and it comes in waves. Luckily I have the most amazing support network that I’ll forever be grateful for. At the end of last year through to about March this year as well as on countless other occasions I thoroughly contemplated suicide. A few of those close to me are aware of one particular instance which I won’t go into on a forum such as this.

Not everyone is as lucky as me to have that support network and even if they do, sometimes they don’t know it or may very well be too afraid to speak to them. MIND do an incredible job of providing support for those suffering and for those aiding a sufferer. I’ve been to their Swindon/Gloucestershire office before for different purposes and they’re all utterly wonderful and kind human beings. It’s because of this that I’ve decided to run for them.

Even a 50p donation could help someone in a dark situation make their day or life a little bit brighter, we’re all aware of mental health and the vast consequences it can have on lives, relationships and many other circumstances. This is just my little bit :) thanks for reading.
