Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

We are really excited to have the first ever Life after Stroke centre in the UK coming to Bromsgrove in the West Midlands. This will be our new regional centre, offering vital support, training and resources to local stroke survivors, their carers and families.

We are aiming to raise £40,000 through The Standard readers and those within the local community and any donation you are able to make will bring us closer to that target, to help local people affected by stroke.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to us at The Stroke Association for the Bromsgrove appeal and we will make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

If you would like further information about the new Life after Stroke centre or would like to be involved further please visit our website: www.stroke.org.uk/newcentre. We would love to hear from you.

Thank you so much for your support.
