Our kids, yours and mine, are unlikely to be referred to as vulnerable or underprivileged but some are at a distinct disadvantage in life. The Mitchemp Trust (http://www.mitchemptrust.org.uk/mitchemp/what_do.php)  endeavours to help kids like this.

Last year we managed to complete the challenge (24 Lakeland peaks in 24 hours) and raise funds to help this really worthwhile charity. This year we have put together a team again and aim to beat our time (22 hours) and our funds (almost £8,000).

You can't help us with the first of these aims (except with your good wishes) but we need your help with raising funds. Please be as generous as you are able - every little helps!
