I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK!
This October, I’m taking part in their 'Walk 60 Miles in October' challenge to help save lives and improve the quality of life for everyone affected by bowel cancer.
In Memory of My Daddy ❤️
On 23rd July 2026, our family said the hardest goodbye imaginable to my daddy, John, after his brave battle with bowel cancer.
Daddy was only 60 years old. He fought this cruel disease with so much strength and courage, but sadly, after his illness progressed, he became very unwell and spent his final days receiving care surrounded by the people who loved him most.
Losing my daddy has left a hole in our lives that can never be filled. He was so much more than my dad — he was my safe place, my biggest supporter, and someone who brought so much love and laughter into our lives. I will carry the memories we made together for the rest of my life.
Daddy was a true animal and outdoors man. He loved horses, riding, his birds and being outdoors, and those are memories I will treasure forever. So much of who I am has been shaped by him, and I hope that when people see me, they will see a little bit of him too.
I have set up this fundraiser in Daddy’s memory to help raise awareness and support for bowel cancer research and those affected by this devastating disease.
No family should have to go through what ours has. If our fundraising can help another family have more time with the person they love, or help towards finding better treatments and ultimately a cure, it would mean the world to us.
If you are able to donate, no matter how big or small, we would be incredibly grateful. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing this page would mean so much.
This is for you, Daddy.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever my daddy. ❤️
