Brooklyns 5k walk

a 5k walk · 14 July 2013
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Me & my Mummy were looking through photos and we come across some of me, looking very poorly, covered in tubes and wires in hospital, I’ve seen these lots before but this time I had lots of questions.
My Mummy told me how when I was only 1 month old I contracted meningitis and was rushed to St Marys hospital in London. I was very poorly and it was a very scary time for all of my family. My Mummy said I was very brave and I got lots better thanks to all the doctors and nurses that looked after me.
Mummy said when I’m older I can do something to raise lots of pennies to give to the hospital so they can buy special things to help save other babies and children. I told my Mummy that I didn’t want to wait till I’m older and I want to do it now.
My Mummy is doing a 5k walk for another charity on the 14th of July 2013 and I’ve decided that I want to do this walk along side her to raise money for COSMIC (children of St Marys intensive care- the charity that helps to support the PICU Brooklyn was in).
Please could you all sponsor me on this walk, it’s a very long way for my little legs. I have only set a small target & every little helps from 10p to £10 every penny counts so please help :-)
13/06/13- "fank yoo for mi muny I riley wont too doo it too day. luf from Brooklyn" Brooklyn was so happy to see how much he had raised already & when I read the messages out to him his face lit up with every one. After convincing him that a billion pound would be a bit much to ask for, hes decided on upping his target to £200. Thank you to everyone that has donated so far, were so grateful :-)
