Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We've decided to raise money for Beat because over the years several of our friends and family have been affected by and suffered way too much due to eating disorders. We want to do everything we can to help those affected by this horrible illness.

During August, Jacob and Becky (and friends) will complete their longest bike rides ever with at least 20k around Durham.

Then on September 14th Penny will complete a self devised lakeland duathlon challenge within 24 hours. This will involve a 90+ mile bike circuit from keswick including whinlatter, hardknott and wrynose passes. To make it more interesting she will be stopping along the way to climb the 4 highest peaks in the lakes (and England).

At the end of the summer we hope to complete another 20k bike ride as a family including Molly (and friends!)
